PERLOW, NOACH YOSEPH BOAZ. (Grand-Rabbi of Avrutch - Chabad). Two Autograph Letters, one Signed.
Concerning a business matter.
Two pages.
Ovruch, 1894.
The Chassidic court of Ovrutch was established by R. Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, the fifth son of the Tzemach Tzedek. While five of his brothers established their own individual courts, each modeled after the Chabad teachings of their father, R. Yosef Yitzchak however followed the path of his father-in-law, R. Ya’akov Yisrael Twersky of Cherkasy. Thus, Ovruch Chassidism is uniquely styled as a Chernobler Court.
R. Noach Yosef Boaz Perlow married the granddaughter of R. Yosef Yitzchak, thus becoming the fourth and final Grand-Rabbi of Ovruch.
